Mag-Aso Falls are located about 20 kilometers outside of Tagbilaran city in Antequera, Bohol which is also home to many karst caves including Antequera, Hagakak and Inambacan caves.
The twin falls are an impressive 8 meters high nestled amongst a backdrop of wild ferns tropical plants and ravines. The pool directly under the falls is quite deep and the swimming is excellent. For those who prefer to watch and rest there are several cement seats and tables available.
You can climb up to the top of the falls and see the small stream that feeds it. Behind the falls is a small cave. At the base of the lagoon the stream continues on it's way down through the dense foliage and rugged terrain.
